Don Quixote Week
Academy Ballet Series | Ages 12 - 18
Step into the vibrant world of Don Quixote, a ballet celebrated for its brilliant technique, lively character, and unmistakable Spanish style. Throughout the week, dancers will explore the dynamic energy and theatrical quality that make this ballet one of the most exciting works in the classical repertoire.
Training will focus on the bold technical style of Don Quixote, including quick footwork, strong allegro, expressive épaulement, and confident stage presence. Dancers will study excerpts from the famous Dream Scene, working on musicality, clarity of movement, and the dramatic storytelling that bring this ballet to life.
This week emphasizes speed, coordination, and performance quality while continuing to refine classical technique and artistry.
