Swan Lake Week
Academy Ballet Series | Ages 12–18
Step into the world of Swan Lake, one of the most iconic and technically refined ballets in the classical repertoire. Throughout the week, dancers will focus on the unique style, musicality, and discipline that define this timeless production.
Training will emphasize the precision of the swan corps de ballet, including port de bras, épaulement, coordination, and upper body control. Dancers will study excerpts from the famous second act swan scenes and work on developing the unity, fluidity, and artistry that make this ballet so powerful on stage.
This week is designed to help dancers refine their classical technique while gaining deeper insight into one of ballet’s most important works.
Daily Training Includes:
• Classical Technique Class
• Swan Lake Repertoire
• Conditioning
• Pre-Pointe Strengthening
• Stretch & Flexibility Training
• Artistic Lab
Dancers will learn excerpts inspired by the second act (swans), explore storytelling through movement, and experience what it feels like to rehearse classical repertoire with focus and intention.
The Artistic Lab rotates daily and includes hair and makeup workshops, ballet history, performance etiquette, viewing professional excerpts, and more.
