Junior Ballet Series | Ages 7–12
Enter the enchanting world of Swan Lake, one of the most beloved ballets in the classical repertoire. Throughout the week, dancers will explore the grace, musicality, and expressive artistry that bring this timeless story to life. Inspired by classical repertoire adapted for young dancers, students will focus on port de bras, épaulement, coordination, balance, and the fluid movement quality that defines the swans of this iconic ballet.
This week emphasizes elegance, artistry, and strong classical fundamentals while encouraging dancers to develop confidence, stage presence, and a deeper appreciation for classical ballet storytelling.
The week concludes with an in-studio showcase highlighting the choreography, technique, and artistry developed throughout the week.

Dancers will learn excerpts inspired by the timeless choreography of Swan Lake, focusing on graceful port de bras, expressive upper body movement, musicality, and the flowing coordination that characterizes this iconic ballet. Through age-appropriate repertoire, students will develop artistry, elegance, and confidence while exploring the beauty and storytelling of the classical ballet tradition.
The Artistic Lab rotates daily and includes hair and makeup workshops, ballet history, performance etiquette, viewing professional excerpts, and more.
Sample Daily Schedule
9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
9:00–9:15 – Arrival & Guided Warm-Up
9:15–10:30 – Technique Class
10:30–11:15 – Repertoire
11:15–11:30 – Snack Break
11:30–12:15 – Conditioning & Pre-Pointe
12:15–12:45 – Rehearsal & Variation Polishing
12:45–1:00 – Artistic Lab
Early drop-off and extended pick-up are available for an additional fee.
(Schedule may adjust slightly based on group needs.)
What to Bring
• Ballet shoes
• Black Leotard & Pink tights (black ballet skirt optional)
• Comfortable cover-up clothing (t-shirt, shorts, or warm-up layers to wear over dancewear)
• Hair neatly secured in a bun
• Nut-free snack
• Labeled water bottle
• Small notebook & pen (for Artistic Lab notes)
Tuition
$210 per week
Before and after care available for an additional fee.
Enrollment is limited to maintain focused training and individual attention. Early registration is encouraged to secure your dancer’s place.
How to Enroll
Enrollment is completed through our online Parent Portal.
Step 1: Click the “Enroll Now” button below your selected summer program.
Step 2: If you are new to Nona Ballet, create a Parent Portal account. If you are a current family, simply log in.
Step 3: Select your desired summer week and complete registration.
Step 4: Submit the $75 non-refundable deposit to reserve your dancer’s spot. The $75 deposit is applied toward the total tuition. The remaining balance will be charged prior to the start of the program.
Enrollment is first-come, first-served. Registration is confirmed once the deposit is received.
Sleeping Beauty Week challenges dancers to refine balance, precision, and classical elegance. It is a focused and beautifully structured week for young artists ready to elevate their technique.
